Interest
Ideal specimen plant in the garden having an erect stature. Also a fine privacy screen growing to 7 m high. Take a look at the Dragon
Fly Restaurant project in double Bay to see a good example in privacy screen.
How fast will it grow?
Our Bamboo
Growth Simulation gizmo shows you the rate of growth starting off
with a small plant. Of course, growth rate depends a lot on climate, food and
water.
Small bamboo plants are slow to get going, so starting off with a bigger
plant will get you there much faster. Also, using the gizmo will show you the
eventual, un-trimmed shape in outline for this species. |
