Mr Bamboo has pulled apart hundreds of kinds of bamboo and selected species appropriate to grow in towns and cities for privacy and beauty between buildings. Bamboo for the urban landscape, a million shimmering leaves glistening after rain.

For simplicity we have divided urban bamboo into 3 classifications:- Clumping Bamboo, the non-invasive type; Running Bamboo, confine to pots or use ‘escape proof ‘ planters commonly known as Rhizome Barrier to prevent spreading; and Small Bamboo which as the name conveys, grows from knee high up to as high as a person.
